Typhon Sector

The Typhon Sector is a sector of space in the Beta Quadrant of the Milky Way Galaxy. The region currently consists of planets belonging to the Romulan Star Empire and the United Federation of Planets. In 2381 representatives of the Breen Confederacy, Gorn Hegemony, Romulan Star Empire, Tholian Assembly, and the Tzenkethi Coalition created the alliance known as the Typhon Pact in this sector.

Defiant Class Federation Starfleet vessel assigned to serve as a patrol vessel in this sector.
USS Pioneer
Vivace Class Federation Starfleet vessel under refit at Deep Space 5.
USS T'Plana-Hath
Intrepid Class Federation Starfleet vessel under refit at Deep Space 5 and assigned to the Department of Temporal Investigations.

Noteworthy Phenomenon

Typhon Expanse
The Typhon Expanse is a region of space known for its diverse spatial and temporal phenomenon. The Starship Bozeman was caught in a temporal causality loop in this region for over 90 years before being extracted by the Starship Enterprise.

Deep Space 5
An Omega Series Station currently assigned to oversee Starfleet operations in the region.
The Foundry is an ancient space station constructed by the Preservers.

Acheron System
A system of 5 gas giant planets, the Acheron System houses an abandoned Human colony.
Devolin System
A system of 11 planets, the Devolin System has an expansive asteroid field and was the site of the destruction of the USS Pegasus.
Ivor System
A system of 2 planets, the Ivor System is home to the resettled New Gotham Colony.
Ixi System
a system of 4 planets, the Ixi System is the location of the Temporal Rift that trapped the Starships Bozeman and Enterprise.
Pi System
A system of 8 planets, the Pi System was home to a Romulan Colony during the Earth/Romulan War. It has since been abandoned and is unclaimed.
Sha'Moy System
A system formerly of 6 planets located in the Romulan Neutral Zone. The star system was destroyed under mysterious circumstances in 2416.
Vuox System
A system with 1 planet, the Vuox System is home to an expansive asteroid field from the destruction of 3 planets in the system by an unidentified spatial anomaly.
