Education:
Educated at Starfleet Academy, with one year spent as an intern at the Vulcan Science Academy for the purpose of a cross-cultural study
Languages:
Terran (fluent), Vulcan (semi-fluent), can read basic Klingon, Romulan, and Cardassian, but has trouble speaking them.
Service Record:
Upon graduation from Starfleet Academy, spent four years assigned aboard the U.S.S. Excalibur, with time spent in security and engineering.
Promoted to Lieutenant. Afterward, spent eight years assigned aboard the U.S.S. Monitor, engineering and navigation. Was placed in charge
as acting captain four times during his assignment on the Monitor, with two of those instances involving combat scenarios. Promoted to
Lieutenant Commander. Afterward, spent eight years assigned aboard the U.S.S. Yorktown. Was placed in charge as acting captain thirteen
times during his assignment on the Yorktown, with four of those instances involving combat scenarios. Promoted to Commander upon
completion of his assignment. Spent a year assigned to Starbase 531 before departing due to a medical indicent (see below)
Reprimands:
Two reported incidents of tardiness while aboard the Excalibur. One incident of insubordination during an argument with the senior officer of
the Yorktown while on the bridge.
Medical History:
Severe allergic reaction to Retinox 7. Unaware of this potential reaction, Heinlein was hospitalized for a severe, near-death reaction upon
administration of the medicine. Was sent to Rigel IV for an extended medical shore leave. As a result, has occasional headaches and blurring
of vision that recur. Requires reading glasses for small print items.
Psychological Profile:
Somewhat obsessive-compulsive when it comes to work. While not a “workaholic,” nevertheless has a tendency to refuse to relent from a task
until it is completed correctly.

Dislikes:
Although he is not anti-social, Heinlein prefers to not mingle in crowd-type situations, and would rather be by himself at times. Has a disdain for bureaucrats and politicians, and is especially reluctant to undertake any mission directly involving a political presence aboard his ship.

Loves to practice with phasers on his spare time. Loves to read, cook, and sample various cuisines from different species.
